Firearm Transfers:
Transfers from both FFL holders and private individuals are accepted. We do reserve the right to refuse transfers from parties that have previously caused problems, or will not comply with the following:
Private Party Transfers:
The purchase from a private individual is strictly between the
buyer and seller. Eagle Armorment only conducts the required Federal 4473 background check and appropriate paperwork. Any warranty or service is honored by the seller, not Eagle Armorment. We act only as a transfer agent. Transfers will only be conducted for the person named on the invoice. Private Sellers must provide a legible copy of their driver’s license or other state issued picture ID. Firearms received without a copy of the seller’s driver’s license will be returned COD! No exceptions.
What to do:
Complete your purchase with the seller, and provide them with the following mailing address:

DO NOT identify the contents as a firearm! Sellers may bring the firearm into the shop, but must provide their current driver’s license or other state issued ID. Private Party Sellers do not receive a copy of our FFL. If your seller demands a copy, have them ship through an FFL or find a different transfer agent.

Enter 4-34-XXX-XX-XX-07853 to receive verification of our license.
FFL Transfers:
We will provide the shipping FFL with a copy of our License by Fax or Email. The purchase from another dealer is strictly between the buyer and seller. Eagle Armorment only conducts the required Federal 4473 background check and appropriate paperwork. Any warranty or service is honored by the seller, not Eagle Armorment. We act only as a transfer agent. Transfers will only be conducted for the person named on the invoice. Please contact us by email or phone before having a firearm and/or NFA item transfer shipped. Eagle Armorment is not responsible for any transfers delivered after business hours. If informed prior to shipping we will make every effort to receive the shipment in the event of an after-hour delivery.
Fees: Transfers are $30 for the first firearm and $10 for each additional firearm & NFA items $30 for the first one and $10 for each additional processed on the same 4473. If additional calls or other complications arise, additional fees may be incurred.
DELAY/ DENY response: The NICS check may result in a Delay or Denied response.
In either case, a transfer of the firearm cannot be completed until a “proceed” has been received. Any cost of return shipping, or additional NICS checks are the responsibility of the receiving party. A NICS check will only be conducted on the party named on the receiving ticket. No substitutions. A $30 booking fee will be charged on any returned items, in addition to shipping.
